# User Settings

User setting allows to an administrator customize certain application functions such as:

- **Email** - This email address will be used for MAC address notifications or alarms.
- **Alarm** - The administrator will receive email alarm if XTENDISE is not working correctly or loses connection to ISE API. This option is only available for XTENDISE administrators with the **Administrator role**.
- **Send Notifications (h)** - Specified time when the administrator receives a MAC deletion warning in advance.
- **Default Live Log filter** - The selected filter will be loaded when the Live Log page is opened.
- **Default Device filter** - The selected filter will be loaded when the Compliance Module devices page is opened.
